GYPROCK Trade has opened
a bigger and better store in
Albury's Airport Estate.
The new specialist CSR trade
centre is the largest in regional
NSW and Victoria.
Previously in Lavington, the new store is
significantly larger and trade lines have more than
doubled, says store manager Graham Small.
"We've gone from 380 line items to more than
800," he said.
It is the largest distributor of CSR brands in the
region and Mr Small said it showed CSR was
serious about business in Albury.

The reaction from local trades people had
been positive, Mr Small says.
"We're been very busy, especially with school
building projects and general housing on the
Border," he said.
With business booming,
this trade supplier has
doubled its inventory.

The move and the subsequent increased trade
meant they needed to employ more staff.
"In Lavington we were a crew of five all up, and
to help with demand that's gone up to eight," Mr
He said staff morale was high and customers
had noticed the positive changes.
"It's great, customers are saying how much
better the experience is, they're not just walking in
and buying something and leaving, they're getting
technical advice," he said.
The store now offers additional specialised
services, a new delivery service and a local
representative who can go on site to determine
Gyprock Trade opened for business in the
Airport Estate in February 2010.
But Albury Mayor Alice Glachan and Gyprock's
regional general manager for Victoria and
Tasmania, Zoran Jovanovski, along with Mr
Graeme Small and his team officially opened the
building in mid-April.
