IN 1973, the year the world’s first mobile
phone call was made, a company called
Daro was established.
Starting as Canon dealers, Daro’s goal was
elegantly simple - to give local businesses
a genuine competitive advantage by
becoming the region’s leading office
Nearly four decades later, Daro is still
locally owned; employs 17 staff; has
offices in Wangaratta, Albury and Wagga;
has added Konica Minolta and Casio
point-of-sale equipment to its stable; and
is still Albury-Wodonga’s office equipment
What keeps Daro on top? “A strong focus
on utilising the very latest in technology
to help reduce costs for their customers,”
according to Managing Director, Terry
“For example, our managed print service
saves our customers up to 30 per cent on
their printing budgets,” Mr Nelson said.
“As well as achieving substantial savings,
the service improves productivity and
reduces waste and the company’s carbon
footprint,” Mr Nelson said, “and these are
critical considerations for any business.”
Embracing the latest technologies with
sound business acumen, the Daro Group
has a suite of office equipment devices
that enable mobile printing from smart
devices, mobile scanning to smart devices
and printing from and scanning to cloud
Daro’s latest range of multi-functional
devices can also be WiFi and mobile-
enabled for business. Even the latest
projectors can support WiFi, giving
businesses the ability to fully integrate
their ‘smart’ technology.
larger customers are implementing new
technologies like Follow-me-print, Secure
print and Secure Scan.
Smart metering and maintenance systems
allow remote servicing and consumable
and diagnostics reporting via the web
and all Daro staff regularly spend time at
training events keeping up to date with
new releases of hardware and software.
From the simplest of copiers and printers
to the latest touch screen-based point-of-
sale systems with remote kitchen printing
and table tracking, Daro delivers solutions.
Delivering the latest
