A SUCCESSFUL business record and
a love of golf were instrumental in local
restaurateurs Nick and Connie Bond
opening The Clubhouse Bar & Bistro at
the Wodonga golf course.
Bond & Co has been operating the venue
for a little more than eight months, after
renovations were completed in July last
The Clubhouse Bar & Bistro consists
of a 140 seat bistro, lounge bar and a
traditional spike bar for golfers.
"Being a family of passionate golfers we
have always seen strength in the Wodonga
Golf Club and when the opportunity came
to tender on the lease of the building we
jumped at the chance," Mr Bond said.
"The building has great bones and with a
little love, lots of training and the support
of the community we will strive to become
a premier destination for entertaining in
North East Victoria.
"Our company has strong family values
and has always been a family business,"
Mr Bond added. "Our other venue,
Hollywoods Pizza Bar in Wodonga, has
been trading for more than twenty years
now and has always been owner-operated.
"Hollywoods stems from traditional
hospitality and we have adopted the
same business model at The Clubhouse.
Customer service and consistency plays an
important part in the daily operation.
Whether it is a social or business function
or simply just a break from the daily grind,
the Clubhouse Bar & Bistro has a number
of options available for any occasion -
