Alistair Robinson, his brother
Adrian and their sister Trish
Feuerherdt have always had ‘a few irons
in the fire’ since their teen years and now
in their early 30s the trio has established
four successful, yet varied, businesses
with another in the pipeline.
Alistair and Adrian Robinson started out
designing and manufacturing snowboards
and the family members now operate
a distillery in Albury, a function centre
near Culcairn, an engineering firm in
Wagga and, most recently, they have
opened up a new hospitality venue.
Cellardoor Tapas Bar & Restaurant is
located in basement premises in Dean
Street, Albury which were formerly
occupied by the Pancake Parlour and the
Gala Lounge, which will bring back fond
memories for many locals.
“The decor is based on the original fittings
and we have recycled as many of the
materials as possible,” Alistair Robinson
said. “We have only been open for three

The genesis for the bar came from the
success of the brothers’ business VS
Distillers which has been operating for
six years in Lavington and producing
high quality vodka, gin and brandies for
a niche market.
“We were contracted to supply small to
medium liquor outlets and we have now

Mr Robinson is an accomplished chef
who has worked with his sister Trish at
Orange Grove Gardens reception and
function centre on a farming property
near Culcairn since it opened in 2010.
Both Alistair and Trish have a strong
international hospitality background
with more than 30 years of combined
experience gained from working on
premium cruise liners and in large
formal banquet halls, function centres
and a la carte venues.
Further north, Adrian Robinson
manages Indistri Engineering in Wagga
which specialises in region-wide heavy
construction and general sub-assembly
work. The company has recently built
a hangar-size aircraft refurbishment
facility for Douglas Aerospace in Wagga
with a second now underway. The next
project on the agenda is developing
a manufacturing plant to produce
structural insulating panels, a cutting
edge technology that is particularly
