NOW in their sixth year, the Chamber
Business Awards are an opportunity
for local businesses to celebrate and be
recognised for their achievements.
The 2013 awards are now open and
comprise five 'Purely Business' categories
and seven 'Excellence' categories and two
Nominations close on July 12, 2013 the
awards presentation dinner will be held on
October 11, 2013.
The various categories are:-
'Best New Business'
'Best Micro Business'
'Best Small Business'
'Best Medium Business'.
'Best Large Business'
Excellence in Business
'Excellence in Contribution to the
'Excellence in Hospitality, Leisure and
'Excellence in Manufacturing, Industrial
and Logistics Services'
'Excellence in Commercial and
Professional Business Services'
'Excellence in Health and Wellness'
'Excellence in Retail'
'Employer of Choice'
'The Hall of Fame Award' is presented
to an individual who had made a
significant ongoing contribution to Albury
Wodonga's business landscape and the
general community at large. The recipient
will have operated a business within
Albury Wodonga for at least 20 years,
but may not necessarily be still active in
the business. The individual and/or their
business are seen as leaders and innovators
in their industry sector and will also have
made a valuable contribution to the
general communities of Albury Wodonga.
The individual is of good character and
generally seen as a 'doyen' of the local
'The Future Business Leaders' is presented to
an individual who should be recognised as a
future business leader in the local community.
The recipient will have operated or managed
a business within Albury-Wodonga for at least
one year and will be demonstrating excellent
leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial
approach to business development. The
individual will be emerging as a leader or
pacesetter in their industry sector and will have
demonstrated a true commitment to Albury-
Wodonga's business landscape and the general
community at large. The individual will be a
dynamic personality of good character and
generally seen as an 'up and coming' leader of
the local business community.
