"We had a vision for a locally operated
medical clinic with the primary focus on
family based medical care," Dr Alfeen
Varghese said. "We asked ourselves what can
we do for the region where we wanted to
live and work.
"Once we started to develop the concept
we agreed that we needed a purpose-
built facility that could provide holistic
health care," she explained. "We wanted
full control so that we could establish a
high quality service that is accessible by

aim they committed themselves to making
Daintree an exclusively bulk billed practice.
"This certainly does not indicate that we
are offering a 'production line' service," he
said. "It actually allows us to provide more
effective health care."
