NOW in their seventh year, the Chamber Business
Awards are an opportunity for local businesses to
celebrate and be recognised for their achievements.
The 2014 awards are now open and comprise five
'Purely Business' categories and seven 'Excellence'
categories and two individual awards.
The awards presentation dinner will be held on

• Excellence in Innovation
• Excellence in Workplace Health and
• Excellence in Environmental
• Outstanding New Business
• Outstanding Small Business
• Outstanding Medium/ Large Business
• Excellence in Hospitality, Leisure and
• Excellence in Manufacturing, Industry
and Business Services
• Excellence in Commercial, Personnel
and Business Services
• Excellence in Health & Wellness
• Excellence in Employee Culture
• Outstanding Young Business Person
• Most Outstanding Business
• Hall of Fame
'The Hall of Fame Award' is presented to a person
or persons who have made a significant ongoing
contribution to Albury-Wodonga's business
landscape and the general community at large.
The recipient(s) will have operated a business
within Albury-Wodonga for at least 20 years but
may not necessarily be still active in the business.
The person(s) and/or their business are seen as
leaders and innovators in their industry sector and
will also have made a valuable contribution to the
general communities of Albury-Wodonga. The
person(s) will be of good character and generally
seen as a 'doyen' of the local business community.
'The Future Business Leader' is presented to a
person who should be recognised as a future
business leader in the local community. The
recipient will have operated or managed a business
within Albury-Wodonga for at least one year and
will be demonstrating excellent leadership qualities
and an entrepreneurial approach to business
The person will be emerging as a leader or pacesetter
in their industry sector and will have demonstrated
a true commitment to Albury-Wodonga's business
landscape and the general community at large. The
individual will be a dynamic personality of good
character and generally seen as an 'up and coming'
leader of the local business community.
